Learn more about Henrik Skogström and his motivation for participation:
Henrik is studying entrepreneurship at Turku School of Economics and is working as a Designer at Vaadin. His team considers itself a group of friends. Most of them Henrik knows from high school. Therfore they were really well acquainted and that might be the reason why they were so effective.
Henrik applied to participate in the App Camp because he loves to build and design stuff. In his opinion it is a great way to clear your mind and get new inspiration for your daily life. Besides Henrik went to most hackathons in his hometown. Henrik liked that he saw a lot of opportunities at the App Camp. But he is sure that they only discovered a mere sliver of all the possibilities. During the Appathon he experienced that the satellite data had especially provided an interesting puzzle about how something orbiting earth could help everyday life.
What are the plans of the winner with the project for the future? At present Henrik and his team are discussing how they want to proceed with their project. Perhaps they will start a company in the future or they will just release it as open-source so that somebody else can continue with their project.
We would like to thank Henrik and his team for their active participation at the App Camp and wish them the best for the future.
