All.

I have just build a new version of the Android Agentry Client based on OpenUI in the SMP 3.0 SDK version SP06 PL02.

When you import the OpenUI projects into Eclipse you will be presented with errors like below.

ImportInEclipse.jpg

This is due to a missing project.properties file in the project AgentryAndroidClientSolution.

Fix:

1. Create the (empty) file project.properties in the root of the project AgentryAndroidClientSolution.

2. Go to the properties window (Alt-Enter) of the project, and enter below values.

AgentryAndroidClientSolution.jpg

Click OK.

Restart Eclipse.

Then you should be good to go.

    Hi Søren,

I observed this could be caused by the way OpenUI project is imported into Eclipse. If the project is imported with the zip file as is (using archive file option), this scenario could happen.

When the zip file (e.g. SMPAgentryClientFramework-Android-70.6.2.zip) is extracted just on the filesystem and you check the ‘AgentryAndroidClientSolution’ folder, you would notice it actually contains the project.properties file.

What I do is extract the zip file first into a folder. Then in Eclipse, select File -> Import -> General -> ‘Existing Projects into Workspace’ -> ‘Select root directory’ and choose the folder you extracted the project files into.

Note: Do not tick ‘Copy projects to workspace’

    then import into Eclipse.

When I import the project this way, I don’t get any issues.

    Regards,

    Taiye
