It’s not long since we welcomed 2015 but SAP has already been busy adding new awards to our collection in the area of Learning Strategy, Business Development and Delivery. It started in late January at the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Conference where SAP was honored with four prestigious Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards across three well-known learning offerings, recognizing SAP as a leader in learning strategy and delivery.

Brandon Hall Group is a HCM research and advisory services firm that provides insights around key performance areas, including Learning and Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Management. Brand Hall Excellence Awards are often called the “Academy Awards” by Learning, Talent and Business Executives, and the program was first established in 1994.

SAP won awards in both the Learning and Technology categories:

Extended Enterprise Learning Program

openSAP

Best Advance in Performance Support Technology

SAP Workforce Performance Builder

Best Advance in Content Authoring Technology

SAP Workforce Performance Builder

Extended Enterprise Learning Program

SAP Learning Hub

“The winners truly exemplified excellence around the critical business dimensions across the award categories, including a high standard of performance in their organization and demonstrated clear, measurable business results through these innovative programs.”

Rachel Cooke, COO Brandon Hall Group

While preparing to collect these four prestigious awards, SAP Workforce Performance Builder was announced as part of the top 20 Industry Leaders list for "Best Authoring Tools 2015" awarded by Training Industry. The list is compiled by a committee selecting  the top authoring tools companies based on the following:

      • Leadership and innovation
      • Features and capabilities
      • Size and growth potential
      • Focus on authoring platforms
      • Client and user base
      • Geographic reach

Jan Meyer, head of Learning Strategy, Business Development and Delivery Channels at SAP, commented, “We are not only delivering learning content flexibly through SAP Learning Hub and openSAP, but also empowering companies to create their own specified user help and training. SAP is deeply honored to win these coveted awards and such industry recognition of our achievements is strong validation that we are moving in the right direction for SAP’s customers and partners.”

openSAP and SAP Learning Hub also earned awards in 2014. openSAP received the Innovation in Learning Bronze Award 2014 by the Learning & Performance Institute and SAP Learning Hub received the STAR Award for Innovation in Enabling Customer Success, Education Services by the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA). Both openSAP and SAP Learning Hub are relatively new in the SAP world but are already paving the way for virtual learning across the SAP Ecosystem. openSAP launched in May 2013 with SAP Learning Hub launching in January 2014.

Michaela Laemmler, Dean of openSAP, said, “Achieving these prestigious awards in such a short space of time is incredible and demonstrates our adoption of new learning formats to enable innovation adoption at scale.”

Congratulations to all of the teams involved!
