I am pleased to capture the highlights of the second bus tour in Busan for your reference:
The program provided experience of Design Thinking to 25 students from all over the country to experience 2days&1night Design Thinking process and come up with creative and tangible solutions.
The challenge of the tour was ‘improve traditional market’. At each event, students were taken to the market site by branded bus to conduct interviews with the local shop owners, visitors and define the real problems. Studetns took empathy, define, ideate, prototype and test process with real shop owners, vendors and visitors at Gukjae ShiJang in Busan, Korea. During the tour, 6 SAP employee mentors guided each team of 4-5 students throughout the whole processs.
The program also took the opportunity to expose SAP brand to the public by operating branded bus in downtown area in Busan, Korea. The bus not only maximized SAP exposure to the general public but also spot the event from various angles.
The facebook page has now reached 7,367 “likes”. We are now waiting for the last, but not least, design thinking bus tour in Seoul on 6th and 7th February.
Once again, thank you Golbal Corporate Affairs Korea, Innovation team Korea, University Alliance Korea for your effort on putting this together. Moreover, we would like to send out a warm thank you to the volunteer mentors of SAP employees.
