2015 is shaping up to be a big year for Women at SAP! Already, it started with a hugely successful networking event led by Chief Learning Officer Jenny Dearborn and P&I Chief Operating Officer Tanja Rueckert and the Business Women’s Network (BWN) with more than 80 women participating.

Get ready to mark your calendars! Here’s a quick snapshot of all that’s planned so far this year for women at SAP Silicon Valley:

Wednesday, February 4 – In partnership with KQED and BWN, SAP Silicon Valley is brining KQED’s empowering documentary series, “MAKERS: Women Who Make America – Women in Business”, to our Palo Alto Campus.  After viewing the inspirational film, Jenny Dearborn; Ann Barlow, Watermark Vice Chair and Partner and President of Peppercomm; Renee Cullinan, Managing Director of Atalanta Partners; Raquel Gonzales, Silicon Valley Market President, Bank of America; and Rachael Myrow, KQED moderator will take the stage for a discussion on themes of the film. Register now!

Saturday, February 7 – Join Jenny Dearborn, Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, Margaret Nagel, and Lalita Tademy for the lunchtime networking event, TheaterWorks’ Leading Ladies.  Register now for your chance to meet the inspirational speakers!

Thursday, March 12 (TBC) – Celebrate International Women’s Day with Watermark and BWN. Stay tuned for more information!

Wednesday, May 27 – Join more than 400 women business leaders in collaboration with the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the importance and contributions of female leadership in business and philanthropy at our Women in Leadership Luncheon. SAP has a table; please contact Kellie Drenner for more information.

Thursday, May 28 – Help us bring TEDxWomen to SAP! We are currently applying to hold a TEDxWomen event at SAP in May. Want to get involved? Email Kellie Drenner or Amisha Ghandi to help us bring a day of inspirational discussions to our campuses. Stay tuned for more information.

Quarterly BWN Networking Receptions and lunch time speakers - Building off the success of our Q1 networking event, we are working to bring similar programs to our Silicon Valley Offices. Also, be on the lookout for monthly lunchtime speakers.

Wardrobe for Opportunity Professional Clothing Drive – Last year, we collected more than five racks and eight boxes of professional clothing to be donated to Wardrobe for Opportunity. This year, let’s beat that number! Stay tuned for more information on upcoming clothing drives.

This is just a snapshot of all we have going on at SAP in the first half of the year. If you have any questions or would like any more information on BWN or any of the events listed above, contact Kellie Drenner
