How to Build a Culture of Innovation
This is the first post of a starting series called Let´s Talk SAP Innovation Management, which will address specific aspects of the innovation process and how it is reflected in SAP Innovation Management. The goal of the series is to drive discussion about innovation management inside and outside of SAP. We are very keen on getting your thoughts and feedback in all aspects of innovation management.
As a starting point, we want to share an infographic about how to build a culture of innovation. This infographic has already been introduced by Marco Cigaina in a previous blog post.
As Marco explains
“The ability to prioritize initiatives, design and conduct projects and experiments, and most importantly learn from them, becomes essential.”
SAP Innovation Management helps you to build such a culture. You can set a strategic focus by setting up campaigns for collecting innovative ideas. You can set up innovation processes, which are tailored to your organisation (process orientation). You can promote cultural openness inside your company, as your employees from all locations can exchange upon ideas and comment on them. You can show institutional commitment, as the review status of the idea is visible to your community from the date of submission onwards.
These described aspects are such a selection of features, which highlight the capabilities of SAP Innovation Management.
