About IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Compensation Management in Integrated Talent Management Vendor Assessment

The IDC MarketScape vendor analysis model for Compensation Management in Integrated Talent Management is designed to provide an overview of the competitive fitness of compensation management software providers in their respective market. The research methodology utilizes a rigorous scoring methodology based on both qualitative and quantitative criteria that results in a single graphical illustration of each vendor’s position within a given market. Those evaluation criteria are very broad, and include the ability to demonstrate high customer satisfaction, as well as a sustainable product strategy.

Thanks to this very meticulous and rigorous methodology, IDC is able to map software vendor offerings with customer requirements and get real-life insights from customers to make up the positioning  of the Value Index for Total Compensation Management. As you will recall, SuccessFactors Compensation was part of the leaders category  in the IDC MarketScape: Worldwide Compensation Management in Integrated Talent Management Vendor Assessment in 2013, and we are humbled and honored to be a leader again this year.

This market recognition is for innovations delivered via the last releases of the software, on the user experience, as well as the administration side of the solution. To name a few: completely redesigned compensation worksheet (see blog here), field base permissions (see blog here), as well as new forecasting capabilities we are announcing with the February 2015 release.
