SAP Fiori Demo Site

Ever since we first released the SAP Fiori Client, customers, partners and my colleagues at SAP have all been asking for a Fiori instance that can be used to demo SAP Fiori or the SAP Fiori Client application or used while evaluating the SAP Fiori Client for deployment to an organization.

Well, this is now possible.

The HANA Cloud team has published a trial implementation of SAP Fiori (running in the HANA Cloud Platform, of course) that customers can use.

To configure the SAP Fiori Client to use this trial instance, simply enter sap.com/fiori-demo in the SAP Fiori Client’s configuration for the Fiori endpoint URL.

The SAP Fiori Client will open a landing page and prompt you to agree to some terms, but once you get past that first page, the Fiori Launchpad loads and you can experience Fiori and/or the SAP Fiori Client in all it’s glory.

Thank you - this is extremly useful!

Will you provide apps from the latest waves on the launchpad, too?

      Best Regards,

      Tobias

We will extend the number of apps in the launchpad (on HCP), but please don't expect to get all the Fiori apps there in the very near future...

Tobias Trapp , which apps specifically are you looking for?

I really like it! Thanks John Wargo

I had to put the full URL to make it working: http://www.sap.com/fiori-demo

If you would like to access directly the launchpad, you can also use the following URL: https://demo-fioritrial.dispatcher.hana.ondemand.com/sap/hana/uis/clients/ushell-app/shells/fiori/FioriLaunchpad.html?helpset=trial&sap-client=001

Yes, you have to configure the SAP Fiori Client with the URL, it does not have a default setting that points to the demo server. We're considering adding a demo mode option in the Fiori Client.

You have to go through the landing page and agree to a license agreement before you can get to the launchpad, so I doubt that URL will work without that step being completed first.

      Hi All,

Same question here as Mr. Kumar. I've been searching around everywhere for a SAP Fiori Demo instance in order to show it to clients and produce engagement with them.

How SAP is supposed to continue selling Fiori if nobody can have a look at it?

      Regards,

      Carlos
