Hi, I have used the "Reverse Engineer -> XML Definition" option, and then Tools->Generate Physical model followed by Tools->Generate Conceptual Model.

The problem is that in the generated CDM the cardinalities in the relations between all entities are "reset" to the same default values : They are all optional and one to many (to be more exact they are 0..n in one direction and 0..1 in the other).

So, the relation cardinalities defined in the orignal XSD are lost. Maybe I miss a configuration/setting somwhere or is this the way it works?

My option is now to manually set all cardinalities in the CDM to the ones defined in the original XSD (a lot of work!) , or much better if someone knows how to preserve the cardinalities of the relations all the way from XSD -> CDM.

Regards

Peder
