Before I am going to talk about why you should come to Johannesburg, let me give a quick update.

Some of you might have noticed that after 15 years, I decided to leave SAP and join a great team @ Visual BI focusing on SAP BusinessObjects BI in combination with SAP BW and SAP HANA and what kind of possible Add On solutions we as a partner of SAP can deliver to our customers to bring even more value to them.

Currently I am focusing on Add On Solutions for SAP Design Studio and SAP Lumira and you are going to hear very soon a lot more about the Add On Solutions for SAP Design Studio.

So why should you plan and come to Johannesburg, South Africa ?

So first of all South Africa is a great, warm, and very welcoming country, so going to Africa is already worth a trip for sure.

Especially when you get a chance to go onto a Safari

.. and are even lucky enough to get very close to these great animals…

.. but that is not all.

The reason why I have been to Africa now several times was a great event, organized by The Eventful team, focused on SAP Analytics.

Mastering Business Analytics with SAP starts on February 25 and goes until February 27 and if you are interested in SAP BI, SAP BW, Lumira, Design Studio, ..and so on and you are in the area you should definitely come to the conference.

I will be speaking about Best Practices for SAP Design Studio and how you can find your way through the SAP BusinessObjects BI portfolio and select the right BI client for your project.

….. and I will be doing a full day workshop on the complete SAP BusinessObjects BI portfolio in combination with SAP BW and SAP BW on SAP HANA – including the latest versions of SAP Design Studio and SAP Lumira.

This is an all day hands on workshop where you get to experience all the BI clients live and based on the previous years I can only say that it is a great experience.

So… in case you are not booked yet and you are in the area, take a look at the agenda and perhaps we see each other in Johannesburg.

I just came back from a business trip there, which followed the Mastering SAP HR conference last year. South African hospitality is wonderful and there are many sights to see, so I recommend it! Plus I’m sure the conference will be good fun 😉
