In cooperation with the Application Center GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO), the European Space Agency (ESA) invites developers for an ESA App Camp in Barcelona to develop a new ESA app in February and March next year. In the context of the ESA App Camp, programmers are encouraged to develop creative and innovative apps that make Earth observation information available to a wide audience on their mobile devices. To this end, participants have access to the SAP HANA Cloud Platform - and thus the possibility to develop apps based on the in-memory platform in the cloud. Because of the ability to process large amounts of data in a short time and also because of its integrated geospatial functionality, SAP HANA Cloud Platform is particularly suitable for this.
