More about motivation and inspiration is what you will find in this blog. Being a Maintenance engineer most of the time spent on shop floor is what makes a person strong in technically background and that is what is required if you want to be a good SAP functional consultant. A strong technically background, knowledge various business processes, understanding of organization and its requirements to be productive and effective. So i am scribbling a bit on my experience of How i had stepped in this world of SAP. As a core team member I was involved in implementation project right from preparation phase to the go-live and support, Most challenging phase is the data accumulation wherein, as a core team member I have to provide the correct and clean data which would in turn help to have a proper implementation, based on this data the organization structure and business processes are mapped in SAP. Knowing the various business process will help in mapping them well in SAP. Now that the mapping was done the actually process of drawing in SAP was kind of easy, as we had already come up with some set of cleaned and visualized data. Making to the requirement went up and finally the process of implementing completed. Overall the SAP implementation needs to be done with high set of functional knowledge and experience. This phase of my life inspired me to get into this world of SAP and now I have started stepping into the long visualized way.
