Creation of BW report iView in SAP Enterprise Portal 7.3

Below are the Step to follow to the create BW report IView in SAP Enterprise Portal 7.3

Step 1:- Make sure that the System Object is correctly configured in the System Landscape under System Administration.

Step 2:- Navigate to Content Administration –> Portal Content Management –> Portal Content and create an iView from Template

Step 3:- From the template select the BEx Web Application iView (SAP Netweaver 7.0 Format) and then Click on Next.

Step 4:- Enter the Name,  iView Id and Prefix.  Click on Next button

Step 5:- Select the radio button SAP NetWeaver BI. Click on Next button

Step 6:- Here the System should be SAP_LocalSystem or it can be blank.  Initailly we cannot keep the system blank.  So Select the BQ1CLNT400 system to show what error will be displayed.  Later the system can be changed to blank or SAP_LocalSystem.

Step 7:- Enter the Query String and Click on Next.

Step 8:-  opne the object for editing and then click on OK button.

Step 9:- Click on Preview button

Step 10:- Instead of the BW report we will get the message “Service cannot be reached”.

Step 11:-  Open the iView properties and keep the System property as Blank.

Step 12:- Click on Save button.

Step 13:- Click on Preview and you will get teh actual expected BW report.
