Generate your custom Fiori application with SAPWebIDE On-Premise using Gateway On-Premise

Hi,

If everything went fine, you should have installed the SAPWebIDE On-Premise and created a connection to your SAP Gateway system On-Premise. If not, you can follow Start with the SAP Web IDE On-Premise and for the gateway connection you can follow Connect the SAPWebIDE On-Premise to your SAP Gateway system On-Premise .

Now we’ll see one of the huge benefits of this SAPWebIDE. We’ll use the wizards of the SAPWebIDE to create our Custom Fiori Application on our SAP Gateway service On-Premise. Follow the steps in our video tutorial:

Enjoy the tutorial and in the next blog we’ll extend our Custom Fiori Application with a home view of tiles. So stay tuned!

Navigate between single full view and split view

Kind regards,

Wouter

      Hi Wouter,

in step "4 Template Customization", the pulldown menu "OData Collection" is empty, although my service contains > 10 collections/entities. The service URL and the collections where fine the step before ("3 Data connection").

      Any idea?

      Thanks & Regards

      Wolfgang

      Hi,

Think you'll need an association for that.

      Kind regards,

      Wouter

      Hi Wouter,

what Do you mean with "association"? I found out that it seems to be an issue with the pulldowns itself, when you start typing in the field, the system auto-completes the entry. Thus, you have to know which entries are available...

      Regards

      Wolfgang

      Hi Wouter,

the service I use is SAP standard and having associations. As the entries are available when directly typing, I assume it is a frontend/UI bug.

      Regards

      HI Wouter,
This series for local installation has been very helpful.
I could successfully create a project connecting to my on premise system.
I used the service SRA021_SRV and create a project.

I m trying to run it by going to Index.html and running it.
But it seems to hang.it shows to me as "Waiting for localhost".

      Can somebody help here.
