Monthly Highlights from the SAP User Experience Community

Before many of us around the world power down our laptops and turn off our devices (I hope) in anticipation of the coming holiday
season, I would like to share my December highlights from the SAP User Experience Community with you.

The SAP User Experience Community is a public community dedicated to the exchange of ideas and knowledge about design and user experience. The Community is for everyone interested in design and user experience, so join the conversation!

In Skill up on design and user experience:

  • Denise Pilar and Felipe Martins from SAP Labs Latin America, talk about Rewards and Pains: User Research in Brazil and how user-centered design can be a challenge in Brazil where the organizational UX maturity level is low. This article presents ways to handle the most common objections and discusses what can be done despite the challenges.

In Design News from SAP:

And of course check out our Discussion Forum for lots of interesting thoughts and tips about design and UX.

I hope you find this post of highlights useful, but keep in mind that it is not comprehensive of all the activity on the community during the last month. Checkout the SAP User Experience Community to discover the interesting contributions that I left out of this post!

And finally, to wrap up, two links that do not lead to the SAP User Experience Community, but instead to UX Magazine: a look ahead with their list of top UX predictions for 2015 and a look back at the year gone by with their top UX trends of 2014.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday season.

All the very best,

Esther
