PowerDesigner checkin issues

Hi PowerDesigner Community

We recently setup PowerDesigner 16.5 SP3 PL3 and so far so good with much of what we have done!

I have seen one error in the proxy logs which manifests itself to the user as issues with checking in a model or the glossary. Sometimes restarting the app or baselining the model can get rid of the issue but sometimes the issue seem to “go away” after a period of time.  Below is an example of  the issue I see in the proxy log ..

2014-12-17 14:44:07 error   – OdbcError(107): [23000] [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0][SQL Server]Cannot insert duplicate key row in object ‘dbo.PMXATV’ with unique index ‘PMXATV_PK’. The duplicate key value is (975886, 19058).

I know this table relates to extended attributes. I checked the database and the object id and extended id does not exist . It is almost as if the check in is trying to check the same combination of object/extended attribute twice !

Any insight into this annoying check-in issue would be appreciated.

Thanks

Howard

I was at Howard's office yesterday, and saw this error myself - I saw some strange behaviour.

The user was checked in Glossary changes - when comparing the local Glossary to the repository PD claimed that the two were identical. However, the changes that the user had just checked in were not visible in the repository, even after clearing the repository cache, and connecting without the proxy.
