The screen shot shows you are looking for "11" not "41"
Hi Stephen,
I am looking for /SMERP/SAP_WAREHOUSE_MANAGER_11_REF i.e '11'
Use dropdown and try to search for BC SET "/SMERP/SAP_WAREHOUSE_MAN_11_REF" .
Thanks
Manju.
Hi Manju,

I have deployed the SAP Warehouse Manager 1.1 to the SMP 3.0 SP04 server .

Also when I checked the Config Panel Under the Mobile Application Configuration setting i am not able to see anything in the parameters tab.

Hi Manju,
We are currently evaluating for mobile apps for Inventory Management in our project and having couple of queries like ....
--> Is this application having functionality to received entire PO (PO may have 100 line items) in one click ? OR Do we have to perform custom build for this kind of functionality ?
--> Is mobile receiving option also available for batch managed material ?
--> Is there any option to capture picture (packing slip) from mobile to send to ECC while doing receipt ?
look forward to your feedback.
thanks,
Hi,
Please see my comments below.
--> Is this application having functionality to received entire PO (PO may have 100 line items) in one click ? OR Do we have to perform custom build for this kind of functionality ?
Yes there is an option to receive all PO items at once with full order quantity for non-serialized and non-batch managed materials.
--> Is mobile receiving option also available for batch managed material ?
Yes
--> Is there any option to capture picture (packing slip) from mobile to send to ECC while doing receipt ?
There is no support for packing slip or picture capture functionality in IM 4.1 but this is going to be extension / enhancement to standard to meet your requirement.
Please refer extended product list at http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-47658 to understand IM product features in detail. Even though document is relevant for IM 3.2 but still most of the functionalities are still relevant for IM 4.1.
Thanks,
Manju
Hello Manju,
If SAP Inventory Manager 4.1 with WM functionalities is deployed , will it include also the IM functionalities as well ?
I am asking that because there is a requirement from the customer that both functionalities are required to be available on the same mobile device for the clerks.
Regards,
Michael
Michael,
In the current version of IM both IM & WM functionalities are mutually exclusive. That is when you activate IM relevant BC set you get only IM functionalities and where as when you activate WM relevant BC set you get only WM functionalities along with few IM functionalities like receipts and issues..
Thanks
Manju.
Manju,
Thank you for your reply, so are now currently seeking to deploy SAP Inventory Manager with Warehouse stock enabled.
What will be the supported transactions by SAP Inventory Manager in this case in both MM & WM ?
From what I understood from the user guide that When Warehouse Stock is enabled, material reversal is not available, else all other inventory functions are still available.
Is that right ?
Thanks,
Michael.
Michael,
You get only receipts and issues from IM side you active Warehouse management BC set. Best way to explore what is available when WH BC is activated is to test yourself.
Thanks
Manju.
Hi Manju,
In key features it is mentioned as below:
In SAP IM 4.1, for Transfer transactions also there will be one combined Material Document? If not, may I know the reason why such cofigurations for Issues only and not for Transfers.
-Shyam
Shyam,
There is no specific reason for not enabling bundling for transfer transactions. May be this could be taken care in next release of Inventory Manager.
Thanks
Manju.
Also Transfer is a User initiated transaction so user can add any number of items to create Material Document so not I am not clear with your question.
thanks,
Chandra
Hi Manju - is there a blog post listing the new features for Inventory Manager 4.2? If not are there any good reference materials that you could suggest?
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Scott.
Between IM 4.2 release notes and IM 4.2 product documentation should give you required details about new product features. Very soon you will see similar blog for IM 4.2.
Thanks
Manju,
