SAP InnoJam 2014 Berlin WINNER – Urban Gardening

I wanted to share the Winner of  InnoJam 2014 Berlin, which eventually went on to win the DemoJam overall!!! Again, like the earlier Palo Alto InnoJam, the theme was Agriculture & the teams were given 24 Hours to code a solution using IoT (Internet of Things) and SAP technology.

Remote Farm lets users water their plants via a website while somewhere in a remote location is the real farm where users can harvest their food. The solution uses SAP HANA to collect and analyze the data as well as sensors for temperature and humidity as well as a web cam to provide a live view of the plants.
