The Recent Issue With Webgui Download — SAP Note 2017287

I have noticed recently we have an issue with Webgui download. I would like to share the information to you to fix/prevent the issue from happening on your system.

Issue description (in most cases):

1. Start Webgui within Portal and try to download data via List -> Save -> File..

2. Popup is shown. After you click Continue (green tick), nothing happens.

In most case the issue happens after system upgrade and in most case it happens only within portal.

This issue can be solved by SAP Note 2017287 and 2014360.

      Hello, I need some assistance around SAP webgui. I have followed this note (http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-29485) and all is ok, as far as logging in is concerned. The problem is I can't download documents. For example, I can access the drop-down list from the "Services for Object" icon within VA03, but nothing happens when I try to download from the list. Has anyone seen this before?

      I also applied note 2017287, as reference above - 2014360 was not applicable in my environment.
