Firefox 34 Rapid Release Cycle release date is December, 1st, for Windows, Mac and Linux.

The biggest addition is Firefox Hello, a new Web Real-Time Communication (WebRTC) calling feature. Also, the secure Wikipedia search spans all platforms and this change means all Wikipedia searches from within Firefox’s search bar now use HTTPS. Some of the other new features are:

  • Easy switch themes/personas directly in the Customizing mode
  • Non-intrusive way to set Firefox as default browser
  • Recover from a locked Firefox process in the “Firefox is already running” dialog on Windows.
