Tuesday night in Berlin, hundreds of attendees gathered to watch the ultimate geek competition here at SAP TechEd && d-code – DemoJam. Of course, no DemoJam would be complete without our resident “British Demo Guy,” Ian Kimbell, on stage to keep the crowd laughing.
Seven teams competed on stage, each having only 6 minutes to give us a live demonstration of their app. And it was up to the audience to choose the winner (with the help of the Clap-o-meter, powered by SAP HANA.)
Impressively, the same team to win InnoJam earlier in the week also took home the prestigious DemoJam medal. Team Remote Farm, made up of 5 students from the Hasso Plattner Institut, developed their app this past Sunday, during an intense 30-hour coding challenge where attendees can “learn, huddle, hack, sweat, pitch” and if they’re lucky, win. Team Remote Farm created an app that allows you to monitor the growth of your plants by checking live sensor data.

And, congratulations to all teams for making it to the DemoJam stage and creating such innovative apps!
