SAP has integrated SAP Fiori with SAP Event Management 9.2

SAP has integrated SAP Fiori with SAP Event Management 9.2.  This is another major milestone in SAP Event Management and this tool is going to attract more customers who would like to view KPI’s with graphical visualization in real time through SAP Smart Business cockpits.  However, SAP hasn’t published the guide on “Available Features and Integration options” as of now in SAP OSS note 2093429 – Create an own Fiori app for Event Management 9.2

Release of SAP Fiori application with SAP Event Management 9.2, we can create our own FIORI application and make a new user experience (UX) across all devices (computers, smartphones, tablets etc.) to clients.

This is a good news but “What is SAP Fiori?”

SAP Fiori is the new user experience (UX) for SAP software. It applies modern design principles for a completely reimagined user experience. SAP Fiori UX represents a personalized, responsive and simple user experience across devices and deployment options.

Current SAP Fiori products for SAP Business Suite:

SAP Fiori for Request Approvals

SAP Fiori for SAP ERP

SAP Fiori for SAP CRM

SAP Fiori for SAP SRM

SAP Fiori for SAP SCM

SAP Fiori for SNC

SAP Fiori for MDG

And so on….

SAP FIORI product information link and check this brief video introduction of it.

I will update the features in this same article once SAP has officially released the information.

      Hi Gopi,

I think you have overcooked this just a tad.

Creating a SAP Note as a placeholder for a future guide on how to create your own application is pretty underwhelming.

It is a long way short of "SAP has integrated SAP Fiori with SAP Event Management 9.2". If this is a "Major Milestone In SAP Event Management" then someone is easily pleased. 😉

I also wonder why SAP released such a note?

      Hi Gopi,

Well yes - but SAP have not "integrated SAP Fiori with SAP Event Management". All they have done is mistakenly publish a draft note with a misleading title.

There is more wrong with this than the title IMO.

      Cheers

      Hi Gopi,

I am not sure if I need to be clearer or if you are deliberately ignoring my point.

You say "I will update the features in this same article once SAP has officially released the information" but the fact is that SAP have not said they have "integrated SAP Fiori with SAP Event Management" - so why are you?

      Cheers

      Hi guys,

please check the info, I just published here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-59428

The point is that ramp-up phase for SAP EM 9.2 and the related new Fiori App 'Freight Order Visibility' has started yesterday. The guide to build your own Fiori App for SAP EM 9.2 will be published soon (as stated in the note 2093429). However, currently only ramp-up customers for SAP EM 9.2 and the Fiori App could benefit from this note. Ramp-up customers that want to work on this already, will anyway get direct support.

I hope, I could help in sorting this out 🙂

      Cheers, Daniel
