Desktop Connection for SAP CRM (11/22/2014 original post)

In addition to SAP’s historic groupware offerings (Client-Based Groupware and Server-Based Groupware), SAP has released a new offering called Desktop Connection for SAP CRM that allows that allows you to manage CRM accounts, contacts, emails, tasks, appointments, leads and opportunities directly from Microsoft Outlook or IBM (Lotus) Notes without the need to log on to the CRM WebClient.
