Following on our earlier blog post, next week at SAP TechEd & d-code in Berlin SAP Mobile Services, will be providing attendees a preview of its innovations in intelligent communications that extend your reach and insights.

Communication as a Service

If you are an ABAP developer, working with SAP HANA Cloud Platform, or classical  on-premise SAP solutions we will showcase how you can deliver immediate value or innovations using our approach to intelligent multi-channel notification services.

Our services enable you to add new notification and communication channels to your apps without having to worry about the complexities of underlying communications infrastructure. You can add SMS, push notifications, and even voice with the minimal of effort. In our sessions you’ll see an early preview of our proposed API. We will be demonstrating along with our partner Twilio how when combined with our intelligent decision engine, adding multiple new channels to your applications is quick and simple.

  • Add two-factor authentication to improved security for services and transactions – using push notifications, SMS and voice channels
  • Add voice-enabled transactions in SAP Simplified Financials

SAP Consumer Insight 365

In our second set of sessions we will be looking at how SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud creates the perfect environment for tackling the challenges of creating a new consumer insight service.

SAP Consumer Insight 365 is an award-winning new service from SAP Mobile Services that enables enterprises and brands to understand consumer behavior. For the first time, brands can unlock insights based on rich Mobile Network Operator data. The service enables brands to answer several seminal questions about their customers – who they are, what they are doing, where are they coming from.

Benefits include enhanced attribution of ad campaigns, cohort segmentation for targeted marketing, improvement of advertising ROI by understanding mobile web behavior and physical activities.

    

In theses sessions we will be sharing the development and architectural approaches SAP Mobile Services took to create a new cloud-based service that takes terabytes of data a day from mobile network operators to generate new insights and market intelligence for agencies, brands, and enterprises. The sheer volume of data, combined with the challenges of combines many data sources, and provide near real-time access has required the use of a number of innovative approaches to create this service. Attendees will gain a unique insight in to how SAP has
created this service, and how these approaches can be used to address other big data challenges.
