SAP TechEd && d-code Las Vegas has come to an end.  This week had everything; two keynotes, announcements, sessions and the show floor. Steve Lucas kicked off SAP TechEd && d-code on Monday afternoon delivering an energetic keynote to a packed room. The keynote was comprised of demos from different industries which showcased the many solutions companies have developed with SAP Technology.

On the second day Bjorn Goerke’s keynote was a mix between sci-fi and inspiration, you can find details of day 1 and 2 recap.  The key takeaways from Bjorn’s keynote where the upcoming release of SAP HANA SPS09, and the announcement that SAPUI5 will now be OpenUI5.

Day two was especially memorable because of DemoJam. Being the first one I have ever attended I can honestly say I was awed with the innovative solutions the participants developed. You could find a solution for everything; Virtual reality, localization, gardening, business applications and even surfing! In the end SpotOn won DemoJam by creating a solution that allows a person to find misplaced items with the help of GPS technology.

On day three attendees of TechEd && d-code rocked to the music of Huey Lewis and the News.  Huey played many of his classic songs.  His hit “Power of Love” was even played twice as the crowd chanted his name and he came back for an encore. See all the highlights below

SAP TechEd && d-code was a great experience.  Thanks to everyone who made TechEd && d-code possible as well as those who attended the conference. Next up is Berlin, so please stay tuned.
