Last week I responded to a discussion question on how to use "Contains" or "Begins with" as the operator of an input control.  Well, you cannot directly.  However, indirectly there are myriad options.  What I suggested was to create a Boolean variable that used the Match function and then create a report filter based on that variable.  You can see the details at the link below...

I thought I would write this up as document to give the concept a little further exposure.  However, I researching this idea a little more I found a very thorough blog post detailing this very same approach.  Clearly, I am not the first person to figure this out and rather than taking the time to going into further detail here I'll just link to that post and give credit there...
