Thought Provoking Keynotes & Sessions

Award-winning author of “Freakonomics” Stephen Dubner kicked off the event challenging  attendees to “Think Like a Freak” and then Peter Baines showed everyone what it takes to be a leader in times of crisis by sharing his heartfelt story of leading teams after the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami. Then Doug Whittle opened day two with strategies on dealing with change both personally and professionally and Snohomish County PUD CIO Benjamin Beberness closed the show with the story of their journey to become a smart connected utility. Between these engaging keynotes attendees had the opportunity to attend more than 50 breakout sessions – the large majority of which were presented by their industry peers.

A Showcase of the SAP Ecosystem

The event would not have been possible without the tremendous support from our partner community.  Vertex was the diamond sponsor of the event followed by IBM who was the platinum sponsor and then gold level sponsors included Utegration, HCL, KPIT, Smart Utility Systems, and Tata Consultancy Services. In total 39 partners supported the event and showcased their offerings in the exhibit hall and  gave several solution demonstrations over the breaks and lunch both days.

On Monday Vertex hosted a wonderful Evening Under the Stars for all attendees and other partners including Accenture, Deloitte, HCL Axon and Open Text hosted several evening  activities giving attendees time to relax and enjoy some down time.
