Day3 Highlights at SAPTechEd && Dcode 2014!!

The day started with 5k run/walk finished at the Palazzo hotel, and which went down the Las Vegas strip at dawn – gave a view of the city most visitors never see. It was not about competition. Participants enjoyed connecting with colleagues and the community while exercising their body, and not just mind. Everyone completely enjoyed the experience!
Then, it was time for refreshments and getting ready to learn more at SAPTechEd&& Dcode! . Started off with educational breakout sessions such as demo rich-lectures, hands-on workshops, customer driven lectures, partner presentations, expert networking sessions, platform and technology showcase sessions, strategy talks and much more. It was an amazing experience for the participants , customers, partners and others.
Educational Breakout sessions: SAP Gateway for Microsoft: Product roadmap sessions. After enjoying the CodeJam mini editions on Oct 21st, participants were so eager to learn about the future directions of SAP Gateway for Microsoft.As part of educational sessions, SAP Gateway for Microsoft Product roadmap sessions were scheduled on Oct 22nd.
ITM824: SAP Gateway for Microsoft started at 10 AM Oct 22nd. In this session, the team presented product SAP Gateway for Microsoft which allowed customers to consume and interact with SAP data directly from Microsoft productivity tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel and more. They also presented about the SP3 release of Office365 integration- Embracing the cloud and then presented what is possible today, talk about customer success stories, and look at planned features. Jenny Lundberg & Edward Lu, our presented in this session. They explained the product value proposition of SAP Gateway for Microsoft.
The audience for this session were comprised of business users, IT professionals and more developers. Hence, Our product experts covered the behind the scene stories such as product architecture, deployment options for customers, etc.
Next, it was time for the Microsoft session: IT108 was scheduled to present .Microsoft and SAP: Innovating for Your Success
This session helped participants to learn how Microsoft and SAP innovate with cloud, mobility, and interoperability solutions that empower your enterprise and provide real-time access to critical business information.
As everyone are interested in moving towards Mobile apps, This year at SAP TechEd 2014 events were scheduled by mobile product teams to present the content for customers to learn how to best approach mobile app projects strategically for their organization using the tools and knowledge that is available today.
This year at SAP TechEd SAP mobile platform had a great line up events. SAP Mobile Platform scheduled an expert session: MOB101 Hybrid Mobile Application Development with Kapsel where Hybrid development was introduced with the SAP Mobile Platform. It was presented by John Wargo, Riley Rainey, Paul Horan
He explained what Kapsel is, what it does, how it works then show you how to build a Kapsel application start to finish. Overall, it was a fun interactive session.
Then, started the shop floor events such as code review sessions, hacker’s lounge, and more. Shop experience is the latest in SAP technology to meet face-to-face with some of the best minds in the industry and SAP exhibiting partners.
Our team enjoyed interacting with many customers at Microsoft booth#152 who were interested in watching demo, asking questions etc for the rest of day!
Time for break! There was lot of fun activities arranged for the employees, presenters, attendees etc. The Fiori Band sponsored by SAP Fiori continued to entertain the participants at SAPTechEd && Dcode. 🙂 🙂
