d.code Berlin is calling

It´s d.code time. At the moment in Las Vegas but soon the d.code comes to Berlin. Therefore I would like to give a short preview what we plan in Berlin to present our work and our services around Ux and design thinking.

In general there are a lot of things planned around this topic:

  • Fiori Café: We will have a dedicated area within the Networking Lounge to meet with customers and show demos. Do not miss the opportunity to create your very special d.code photo in our photo booth, where Rainer Matthias and Mauro Rego from our team will welcome you. Matthias Harbusch will be also available to answer all your questions around UX, UI road map and the design services.
  • Sessions: There will be more than 100 sessions in the UX and UI track
  • Customers: There will be number of customer showcases presented

Besides that my colleagues from the Design and Co-Innovation Center and myself will give a number of interesting sessions in various formats. Here is a short overview about the planned agenda:

Andreas Hauser will talk in various sessions about the UX strategy, the UI road map and the design services we and other parts of SAP are offering

  • TEC104 – User Experience Strategy and UI Road Map – The Next Steps (Tue 16:45 – 18:45)
  • UXP101 – Create Business Value with UX Design Services (Wed 11:00 – 12:00)
  • EXP17631 – Designing the Future – SAP’s User Experience Strategy (Wed 14:30 – 15:00)
  • EXP17633 – Create Business Value with User Experience Design Services (Thu 11:00 – 11:30)
  • TEC104 – User Experience Strategy and UI Road Map – The Next Steps (Thu 16:45 – 18:45)

Heike van Geel and Marion Froehlich will talk about how a road map towards a more user-focused software development could look like

  • UXP260 – How to Create a Road Map Leading to Delightful User Experience Design (Tue 14:30 – 16:30)

Marion Froehlich will talk in addition about how FIORI applications are designed

  • UXP164 – Designing SAP Fiori Custom Applications (Thu 11:00 – 13:00)

Last but not least: I will run together with Michael Falk a session about how design thinking could help to build “better” applications in the end

  • UXP160 – Building New Applications with Great User Experience Using Design Thinking (Thu 11:15 – 13:15)

And if you are interested I am also looking forward to discuss with you the “corporate reality of design thinking” in two expert sessions
