/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/the_cloud_569152.jpgLast night the SAP Solution and Knowledge Packaging team hosted an event with over 100 customers, IT influencers, and partners to showcase how any SAP customer (or soon-to-be customer) can take advantage of what SAP offers for the Cloud. We like to think of it as cloud innovation adoption made simple.

And while the martinis are no more (chocolate was my favorite), the opportunities are just starting. Both Bjoern Goerke (EVP & Corporate Officer, SAP Product & Innovation Technology, SAP SE) and Elvira Wallis (SVP of Solution and Knowledge Packaging) were on board to explain just how easy it is to get started with SAP’s cloud offerings.

Just getting started and want to learn more? Check out openSAP, a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform that allows you to get up to speed very quickly with a series of videos and exercises hosted by SAP experts. Ready to go hands on and try it out? Check out SAP’s rapid-deployment solutions (RDS) for the Cloud: best practices and configuration guides freely available for download for SAP customers interested in quickly and predictably moving to the Cloud.

Prefer to see some possibilities in action first? Check out SAP ERP Foundation Extension, our “preassembled rapid-deployment solution appliance.” Translation: a 30-day free trial of a full-blown ERP system powered by SAP HANA that includes 60+ Fiori apps for a delightful consumer experience, 50+ HANA Live reports for real-time operational reporting on live transactional data, and 80+ business processes across Finance, Controlling, Manufacturing, Procure to Pay, and Order to Cash.

If you happen to be at TechEd && d-code and want to learn more on any of these options and possibilities, come find us on the show floor (we are at pods IZ10 & IZ11). And as always, feel free to leave a comment or ask a question directly below. We are here to help!
