My impression after attending SAP TechEd/Dcode 2014 is that the most interesting and most tangible solutions were related to OpInt, Process Orchestration and BPM and yet these topics tend to be the least followed and easiest to attend (hands-on sessions had no lines, very few BPX/BPM booths on the showroom floor, very few vendors pushing OpInt capability).  I appreciate what Harsh and Tarun (INT162) and Peter (INT163) presented, they brought passion and great real-life examples to life and for that I commend their efforts.  Of all the shiny new stuff my execs may be interested in (FIORI,HANA,blah, blah, blah) this area (OpInt,PO,BPM) in my opinion has the most business value/traction if you can pick the proper business lines and operational managers to partner with.  I am excited to try to pitch these solutions when I head back next week and yet perplexed at how to go about it.
