SAP HANA Cloud Portal Movie Critic: SAP HANA Cloud Portal

As a new starter in SAP, I don’t have much knowledge about SAP HANA products. The Announcement of SAP Portal and HANA Cloud Portal Gamification Movie Challenge has given me a good opportunity to start my first step to get in to the ‘HANA world’.

I watched the following video:

The movie starts with a beautiful cloud, which is SAP HANA based, while the traditional services are on premise, the cloud technology will save business cost for space, maintenance, labour and other related expenses.

The movie shows me that SAP HANA CLOUD PORTAL is accessible on different platforms; any website deployed on the portal can be viewed on laptop, mobile, tablet, desktop, and so on.

Users are benefiting the wider range coverage, we can access information anywhere anytime, and cloud portal delivers easy site creation and social consumption. The product fully utilizes SAP’s differentiating assets: in-memory computing, business applications and installed base.

This short movie captures the most exciting features of HANA Cloud Portal. By using simple pictures to explain how it works, it gives the audience (especially someone new to cloud) a good insight into understanding the HANA product.
