Best practices and findings of customers when using SAP HANA Platform for innovation and simplification

Participants of SAP TechEd && d-code Las Vegas can learn from customers and partners, who share their insights in a comprehensive and open minded way as part of lecture DEV207 (Tuesday 4:30pm, room Lando 4201A, Thursday 2:00pm, room Lando 4202).

After a short overview of SAP HANA Platform (incl. ABAP for HANA, UI technologies and SAP HANA Cloud Platform), three experts will provide detailed findings of their innovation projects:

The first customer project of this session will be presented by Jeff Leinen from Tyson Foods, where a new custom solution based on HANA Native Development (XS) was successfully integrated in a well established SAP landscape.

Thorsten Franz (operatics) explains the pro’s and con’s of the second customer scenario, where AOK Systems tries to implement the paradigm “Insight to action” using ABAP for HANA and related technologies.

Improved user experience by proper usage of SAP Screen Personas is the focus topic of the third customer scenario (James Shen, Deloitte), who shares best practices and findings regarding technology, business impact and project setup.

All together, these customer projects help you to better understand real-life experience with new SAP technologies offered by SAP HANA Platform (on-premise and cloud). In other words, it’s an invitation to evaluate these learnings in the context of your own environment.

Wolfgang, it would probably make sense to post all the TechEd related announcements in the SAP Events space. This information doesn't seem to have much value to those SCN members who are not attending TechEd and if someone opened this blog expecting to read about the actual findings (like myself) they would be rather disappointed.

I've hit the moderator button, hopefully someone will be able to assist with moving this. (Not sure though if the Thorsten's sessions even need any additonal advertisement. 🙂 )

      Thank you!
