Join the #SAPLumira Viz-a-Thon at #SAPtd with Doctors Without Borders

With recent news of the Ebola outbreak; the most serious of the disease ever; and information on the attempt to fight the outbreak being hampered by poor analytics, SAP and Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) are taking an approach to address the challenge with data visualization. SAP helps organizations around the globe run simple by accessing and visualizing data big and small. Doctors Without Borders helps people worldwide where the need is greatest, delivering emergency medical aid to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters or exclusion from health care.

If you are attending SAP TechEd Las Vegas we invite you to join an evening Viz-a-Thon event at 7pm on Tuesday October 21st, 2014 with Doctors Without Borders. Using MSF data, participants learn to use SAP data discovery technology (SAP Lumira) to visualize and gather compelling insights to help Doctors Without Borders improve their organization and lives around the world.

Attendees are invited to download SAP Lumira, bring their own laptops, meet with SAP Lumira experts and a representative from MSF to put the power of data visualization to the test. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover SAP Lumira and visualize data that can help save lives.

Join at the lower level of the Venetian conference center (across from the Casanova Ballroom) at 7pm Oct 21.  Follow @SAPLumira on Twitter for details leading up to the event.

If you haven’t received an invite and would like to attend, e-mail eamon.ida@sap.com and we will add you to our list.

We hope to see you there.

Thanks,

Nic

Also, both the EIM with SAP and Workflow books (from SAP Press) contribute all of the royalties to Doctors Without Borders. It's a great cause!

I heard the rumor that you Jason Cao   will be helping judge the outcomes along with Megan McGuire from MSF and a certain Lumira guru.

Very grateful to the Data Geeks for hosting this!
