Choose company list empty in SAP Business One

Hello,

When I create Business One test environments, it happens to me quite often that I have difficulties to connect to the SLD server.

The symptoms is that when I start Business One, the “choose company list” is empty.

I created this cheat-sheet of what to check:

• Check that the SLD service is actually service – it’s pretty obvious, but let’s start with the basics!
• If the Internet Proxy is set, try to remove it
• Check whether the SQL server is using a static port – it’s easier to manage with static ports
• Firewall or another application is blocking one of the following ports (30000, 30001, 30010, SQL Server Port)
