TechEd && d-code: New job means HANA and big data

This will be my second year at Teched && d-code.  I recently changed jobs and moved from the Midwest to the Deep South. With this job change my focus now includes HANA and cloud hosting.

The Location: Las Vegas.  I am not much of a gambler but I do enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. I encourage you to get out and see the town.  Being a runner I enjoy seeing the Strip early in the morning.

My Plan:  Last year my focus was BusinessObjects and BW.  This year being new to HANA I am going to see how many HANA sessions as I can attend in 4 days.  The hands on sessions I am looking forward to are SEC261 Configuring HANA security and DMM161 Intro to HANA modeling.

Please suggest any sessions for a Basis HANA administrator.

What you’re looking forward to the most:  I was looking for to the 5k but I registered too late to be included. I am going to try Hacker Night this year.

Advice for first timers: This has been said in other blogs but have more than one session on your agenda.  If the first one does not seem to fit leave and go to the next session.  This advice really helped me last year to find content that fit my needs.
