The Financials add-on for SAP Business Suite by SAP HANA can be deployed to SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 on a HANA installation. The Financials add-on for SAP Business Suite by SAP HANA provide optimized financial accounting processes and supports the operational finance experts driving efficiency and compliance. It combines optimized business processes, lean data architecture, and a modern user experience. It is an alternative to the classical ERP Financials core applications of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0. The financials add-on for SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA is also a central component of SAP Simple Finance. All restrictions of this product also apply to SAP Simple Finance. The financials add-on for SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA is a net new product and not the legal successor for Financials in SAP ERP. Therefore it is not delivered under any maintenance agreement for SAP ERP.
