Service Management – Notification Creation – Allowed Change of Notification Type

This section allows you to define a change of notification type.  In general, you would look into this functionality if you anticipate that your notification type may change after a certain time frame, or perhaps after you get more information.  This is not functionality I’ve used in the past.  It appears to be more common when dealing with general notifications.

The configuration portion is very simple.  It is just original notification, and the notification type you wish to change to.  That’s it.
