I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to Phil Loewen, Phil is a vetern of the SAP InnoJam events and has participated in winning teams from those events over the year and has been on stage a few times around the world for the SAP DemoJam and this year it’s with great pleasure that we’ve thrown the existing play book out the window and for the first time we’ve brought in an external as a coach for our DemoJam teams!

Over the years there have been some comments that SAP ourselves are too integrated into every single aspect of this awesome event, granted it’s OUR event so why wouldn’t we be? But it’s feedback and we take that very seriously! So this year not only did we ask several external folks to review all the submissions and to make the selections but we thought bringing in someone with lots of experience outside of the SAP family in looking at demos as well!

Enter Phil! I’ve known Phil since the first SAP InnoJam (SAP Innovation Weekend) back in Berlin in 2010 and he’s since made a huge mark in the community and in the SAP Mentor community.

With luck this week the Las Vegas submissions will be final and I’ll be contacting those folks to confirm their participation, once that is done Phil will be helping them with some tips and tricks on giving their demos and in sharing some of his personal experiences on how best to approach the 6 minute demo concept!

We are excited to have Phil join us in this task and we are excited to be able to take and implement a change requested by you, the audience!

Stay tuned for more on the selected demos and for those who give us their permission to share the demos on here (even those not selected)!

Oh and no Phil is not part of the selection committee 😉
