It seems more and more these days that we can subscribe to be notified about things we are interested in.  If you are into social media, you can be notified when friends, family, colleagues update their streams.  If you’re into online shopping, you can set up notifications to alert you when a sale is on.

Did you know you can do this with SAP support related topics as well?

The SAP Support Portal has a notifications section, that allows you to sign up for the following:

  • SAP Support Portal Newsletter (Spotlight News)
  • Hot News
  • Top Notes
  • Analytics Notifications
  • Security Notes
  • Legal Change Notes

These notification options alert you when something is posted that is relevant to your specialized area.

You can find all of the notifications on the home page of the SAP Support Portal.

If you are signed in to the portal, you can also find your subscriptions under your profile.

Each of these notifications are empty by default.  To set up notifications for any of the above, visit the Help page to learn how.

It is important to note that your personal data must be up to date in order to receive these notifications.  Ensure your personal data (profile) is correct and current.
