This past week cindi.howson said this: "Data prep / business ELT in Lumira was always ahead of competition, but SAP doesn't emphasize, so wrangling a headline for others"
So when a question came through on the discussion about how to cleanse data if a row met multiple conditions, I thought I would try it out. See Cleaning Data - How to change content of a column based on values in another column
First, I copied the data to the clipboard and used that as a data source:
Then I "trimmed spaces":
I selected Delimited By tab and you can see the data here:
This is the grid view of the data:
You can see the code column has many different values. The conditions are if the Name is XYZ, the color is black, and the size is 39, I change the code.
To do this I create a calculated dimension shown above.
Now I have a new column, "CleanCode"
