This industry solution provides enhancements for chemical sales representatives, by covering key business processes which are essential to do business in the chemical industry.
For instance, SAP Cloud for Sales provides information on sales, revenue targets, and on customers. You can place product orders and get approvals from your managers. However, new products in the chemical industry usually require not only a dialogue between the sale representatives and their customers: documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis and technical brochures need to be provided, also material evaluation
samples have to be ordered and shipped to the customer. This process is required due to compliance regulations and is different from other industries where sales executives might be allowed to carry samples to their clients.
