This year’s SAP TechEd && d-code (#SAPtd) in Las Vegas is all about learning and collaborating around modern technologies. But that doesn't mean we can’t also look fondly back at the past to reminisce, share -- and win!
The Thursday night Huey Lewis and the News concert doesn't have to be the only time that we look back in time, to the monolithic Apple Macintosh computers, brick-sized cordless phones and clunky-yet-portable cassette players of the eighties. SAP is offering every SAP TechEd && d-code attendee a chance to win the ultimate throwback experience.
Four tickets to the five-time Tony Award nominated musical ROCK OF AGES are up for grabs. This is your chance to watch a city boy from South Detroit and a small-town girl from a lonely world chase their dreams down the Sunset Strip in 1987 -- for free – following the first day of learning and networking at SAP TechEd && d-code. The show will begin on Tuesday at 8:00 PM.
Want to meet Huey Lewis and the News? The winner will also get the opportunity to win tickets to a special Meet and Greet before the performance! Further details will be provided to the winner once they've been selected.
Eligibility
As long as you’re registered for SAP TechEd && d-code Las Vegas, you can join the challenge! This includes full-conference and show-floor only guests, speakers, employees and event staff (please note that tickets are non-transferable).
How to Become a Finalist
To compete in the giveaway:
- Dig up a personal photo of any tech gadget -- or take a new photo of a relic you still have and wish was still around today. It could be anything from a typewriter, Polaroid camera or even a Tamagotchi (I’m a Millennial)
- Share it on Twitter and/or Instagram using the hashtag #SAPtd
- Yep, it’s that easy
We’ll accept entries from now until Sunday, Oct. 12. Up to 10 finalists will be chosen and announced here on SCN the day after. Then we’ll ask you, the community, to vote for our winner! The lucky attendee will be announced on Friday, Oct. 17.
