What a great feeling to have when I saw the announcement of a Labs COO for Canada. It was great to see in words what you have felt for a while...that being Labs in Canada is important in and of itself, and that we are driving change. I have met Cindy a couple of times and think she is a great addition to the Labs Senior Leadership Team.....as she is based out of Montreal Labs, she also brings that unique Quebec point of view to things as well as being fluent in French. I am including the announcement below from Kirsten Sutton the Labs MD for Canada.
"It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Cindy Fagen
to Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Labs Canada. Cindy reports
directly to me and is second in command for the national organization.
She is a member of the senior leadership team for the Labs Canada
organization including the location-specific Executive Leadership Teams
in the 5 locations across Canada.
Cindy’s official start date with us was August 4th and is currently in
Vancouver enduring a significantly busy and information-laden on
boarding with me. We will soon be visiting all locations across Canada
to ensure she meets as manypeople as possible to integrate into the
organization effectively and settle into her duties as COO, based in Montreal.
This is the first time we have had a COO for the Labs Canada organization. In
her role, Cindy will be responsible for operating, managing and helping the
organization Run Simple. She will execute the strategic vision and mission of SAP
Labs Canada by developing and implementing the operation plan for the
organization. Together, we will see Labs Canada achieve our mission to become:
“the most recognized lab for it’s Made in Canada Innovations and unique
collaboration with customers."
Cindy comes to us with both big business and entrepreneurship background
across many lines of business including Sales/Business Development, Operations,
Strategic Planning, Product/Digital Marketing and most recently founded a
successful organization which she shepherded through 6 years of investment
and growth
