SAP HANA Trial Account Trouble

I am trying to access the SAP HANA instance I have previously configured in “SAP HANA Cloud Platform Cockpit”.

SAP HANA Studio’s Administration Console is giving me the following error message:

java.vendor=Oracle Corporation
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=en_US
Framework arguments:  -product org.eclipse.epp.package.standard.product
Command-line arguments:  -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64 -product org.eclipse.epp.package.standard.product

Does anyone know what this readDbInformation permission is all about? Where would I change it?

Best regards,

    • Ok, I found this one. I had to uncheck the “Hide items that are already installed” flag. After that one more item was shown unchecked and I guess the two need to go together for the “Next” button to show up.

I am still puzzled by the first issue related to “readDbInformation permission”. I’d appreciate if someone could help there. Thanks.

      Best regards,

      • Hi again,

now, after taking the Next button hurdle, I am getting this message:

Cannot perform operation. Computing alternate solutions, may take a while: 4 / 15

I am still in the process of downloading within “Install New Software…”. I love it!

Doesn’t seem quite easy to get this stuff set up. Did anyone run into this one before?

        Best regards,

    • Hi,

I believe you get this error message in “Add Cloud System” when you accidentally set the “Landscape Host” to “” instead of “”.

      Best regards,

  • Hi I am trying to add cloud system in eclipse and getting the same error as “

User ‘S######’ does not have permission ‘readDbInformation’ in account ‘s######'”.

Can anyone please suggest what exactly to be done in this case?
