Issue MDG menu not visible on NWBC. Instead, It shows an error “The user menu tree for user is empty.”

Solution Role is assigned but folder is defined as a “link collection” instead of a “service map” – see:http://goo.gl/OEq9qa
Steps to solution Step-1: Goto transaction PFCG

Step-2: Open your Role in edit mode.

Step-3: Goto ‘Menu’ Tab.

Step-4: Double click on the folder in which your views are defined. If no folder defined, then create one and move the views to this folder.

Step-5: Click on ‘Other Node Details’ button

Step-6: Select ‘Folder Option’ as ‘As Service Map’

Step-7: Save & Execute NWBC
