In the evenings aside from my day job. I am taking a MooC course with Universiteit Leiden. The current module is reviewing economic data.
Below is an example Viz I created using public raw data (sourced from the UN). It shows the top locations for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). This can be used to help decision makers understand which regions and states rank top.
Personally I was surprised to see Australia and Canada in the top inflow list. China is no surprise as is Brazil which is part of the BRICS.
