We are starting to send  out OPT-IN e-Mails to Customers and Colleagues in India on Friday 12, 2014.

For Certificates achieved before Oct. 1, 2013 we need your consent for a data transfer to our partner Pearson.  With this e-mail we invite all SAP Certified individuals to join Credential Manager (CM). The e-mail contains a link to a special web-site. You have to set a checkmark to give consent for a data transfer for the given SAP User-ID.

This is necessary for all valid certificates achieved before Oct. 1, 2013 which you can find here:
https://training.sap.com/shop/certifications. Scroll down to Current Certification and select: List of Valid Exams.

Note:

You may have to give your consent for an SAP User-ID you are not currently  using. This is because your certificate is / was assigned to that SAP User-ID listed at the time you took your exam. Please give your consent even if it does not state your current SAP User-ID. In a later step you can merge all of your certification results under your current S-UserID by submitting a request via Credential Manager.

This is especially important for you if you are working for a partner so that your previous certifications appear in your employer’s reports.

After a week we will transfer the first opt-in data to Credential Manager and also start to transfer current exam results achieved after Sept. 30, 2013, to CM. Certificates achieved after that date will be loaded without additional consent as you agree to the data transfer in the “Terms of Use” prior to taking your exam.

You will receive 2 or more e-mails from credential-manager@sap.com (dependent on the number of valid certificates you have achieved). The first one will contain your initial login data.

Please do not reply to credential-manager@sap.com – always contact SAP Education India at education.india@sap.com .

Don’t forget to create a browser bookmark for: http://www.sapcredentialmanager.com

Publicize your certification status! During your first login you will be asked if you want your data available in our Public Registry. You have to select ‘I agree’ or ‘I do not agree’ . This setting can be changed later. If you agree you need to update your personal data in a next step to add fields you want to be visible in the Public Registry e.g. phone and e-mail.

The menu point Updating your Personal Data shows a ‘Visible in Public Registry’ field where you can set checkmarks for information you want to show.

You can find the Registry under http://www.sapconsultantregistry.com

With Credential Manager it is also possible to forward your certificates or a selection of your certificates to potential customers or employers without being visible in the Public Registry. Just choose: Publish Certification and select the certificates you want to share. Add the recipient’s e-mail address and an accompanying text.  You can preview the mail that’s going out and if you are satisfied set your checkmark to Publish Report.

We wish you every success with Credential Manager!
