APJ: Young Thinkers Program Singapore Launch, Singapore, (2 September 2014)

To mark SAP’s 25th anniversary in Asia Pacific, we are pleased to launch the Young Thinkers Program in Singapore.  In collaboration with IDA, we aim to spark the interest of youths in Infocomm Technology and inspire them to leverage data analytics to design solutions to make Singapore a smarter city.

This experiential learning program aims to help youths understand the extraordinary revolution brought about by Big Data today and its impact on societies, businesses and everyday life. Through hands-on workshops, we want to equip students with analytical and creative thinking skills.

Besides SAP, student volunteers from Singapore tertiary institutions will work with teachers to coach students from Infocomm Clubs at secondary schools and junior colleges in the first half of 2015. All this will culminate in IDA’s National Infocomm Competition on Data Analytics in September 2015.
