Hi Everyone,

I chose this YouTube video because I thought it looked interesting and I could gather useful information from it. Being new to SAP I have little knowledge on the depths that SAP HANA goes to. Therefore I thought it best to start off on a somewhat simple explanatory video.

As a ‘newbie’ looking in I thoroughly enjoyed this video. The background music is fun and suitable to the fast nature of HANA. It adds a light-hearted aspect to the video which in itself is playful with its bright colours and simple design. I enjoy watching educational videos which make it fun to learn about a something of interest to you. In the past I have watched videos of interest to me that have quickly became uninteresting simply due to the format of the video. This was definitely not the case with this video.

I found it interesting to watch as from learning about HANA I understand it to be a very high tech product with a lot of different aspects to it. But in this video making a website with HANA appears as if a monkey could do it! The step by step process outlined also allows you to carefully follow the instructions if you were using this product yourself. This shows customers that you don’t need to have a technical background to use HANA, which I’m sure would be the belief that would deter some users. The software is clear and uses simple lines and swift dragging motions to arrange real time feeds and other items on the website.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have found some value from my blog 🙂

    Hi Lorna

Thanks for your great contribution. Your blog is accepted for the movie challenge and you will receive SCN points and the badge for it in the next time.

By the way, you can insert videos also by embedding them into the blog: On YouTube: run the video and click on “Share” and then on “Embed”. Copy the code. On SCN in the blog editor click on the icon “insert video” and paste the code. Save. That is it.

Kind regards and thanks very much

    Vera
